Firmware
Using the latest firmware for your KMS ECU and accessories, enhances the reliability, versatility and performance. Use the firmware downloader to update the firmware of your system. See also our manuals for help and more information.
Download the correct firmware file below to update your firmware. Unpack the file on your computer in the ‘KMS Firmware downloader’ folder (likely to be located in C:/program files/KMS).
Open the firmware downloader and click ‘OK’ or press ‘enter’ in the startup screen, the KMS firmware downloader should appear within a few seconds. Make sure that your computer is connected to the ECU and that the ECU is powered (ignition switched on). Click ‘Open file’ and select the downloaded file. The firmware files are characterized by the front two characters:
- MD35 files start with the characters 4M
- MP25(M) and MA25(M) files start with the characters 3M
- FA23 files with the characters 3F
- IA23 files with the characters 2I
