KMS MA-9 ECU
The KMS MA-9 ECU is our most advanced standalone engine management system. The ECU comes with a complete new tuning system. It is designed to offer complete control over virtually every aspect of engine management, from fuel and ignition to advanced sensor integration and custom tuning capabilities.
MA-9 Key Features:
Supports up to 16 cylinders (8 cylinders sequential): This expands the MA-9’s versatility across a wide range of engine configurations, including multi-bank setups for V8 and V12 engines, ensuring complete control in both motorsport and high-performance applications.
Variable Valve Control (VVC): With integrated VVC support, the MA-9 allows for full control over valve timing, optimizing engine efficiency, power, and torque curves based on load and RPM, offering a seamless blend of performance and fuel economy.
Knock Control: The MA-9 includes advanced knock control algorithms, providing real-time feedback and adjustments to maximize engine performance while protecting against knock and detonation. This feature is vital for maintaining engine health in high-performance environments.
Two integrated wideband lambda controllers: Compatible with LSU 4.2, 4.9, and ADV sensors, these controllers allow for highly accurate air-fuel ratio management, essential for fine-tuning engine performance in real-time.
Two high-power bridge drivers: These drivers provide advanced control of high-current components, such as electronic throttles.
Onboard EGT input: The MA-9 includes onboard exhaust gas temperature (EGT) monitoring, expandable up to 8 channels via the KMS EGT-to-CAN Converter. This allows for precise control and safety in managing exhaust temperatures during high-performance tuning.
IP64-rated enclosure: The MA-9’s robust design ensures protection from dust and water splashes, making it ideal for demanding motorsport environments where durability is essential.
Completely redesigned tuning software: Featuring advanced logic control, real-time diagnostics, and an intuitive user interface, the new software gives tuners complete freedom to fine-tune every aspect of the engine.
